Paul Thurrott – Is he really a Windows guy, really?

I listen very regularly to the Twit netcast, Windows Weekly with Paul Thurrott.  This is a Windows only show, right?  I supposed to hear Windows news, and banter about the latest things going on with Microsoft and Windows from Leo and Paul.  Correct?

On paper, this guy appears to be a Windows guy.  He publishes articles for Windows IT Pro magazine, runs http://winsupersite.com, has a new version os his Windows Vista Secrets book coming out soon, everything about him on paper says Microsoft Windows.  But yet week after week when I hear him speak with Leo Laporte on the Windows Weekly netcast, he sounds more and more anti-Microsoft/Windows and more of an Apple/Mac/iPhone fan than anything else. Netcast Faves

I was chatting with a friend of mine about netcasts the other day, and was shocked to find out he didn’t really listen to any tech ones at all. For some reason lately, I seem to be getting surprised left and right lately at how many people I run into in my field that aren’t familiar with newer technologies or trends, or haven’t decided to take the plunge into Web 2.0 stuff yet.
